Bryan Lowcay

Bryan has a proven track record covering all aspects of Quarter Horse training, care, and breeding, gleaned from over 45 years experience with these wonderful and challenging animals.

Having spent 13 years living in Texas, and working for such Champions in the Cutting Horse industry as Jim and Mary Jo Milner, Lindy Burch, Craig Thompson and 7 years with leading prize money earning Professional Trainer Phil Rapp and his wife, Mary Ann, leading Non Professional. Starting 2 year olds, showing and attending events throughout USA from California to Carolina, and Canada, has given Bryan a vast experience in the Western riding World.

He has competed in both Western and Cutting Horse Horse shows in New Zealand winning many NZCHA National Championships. While in the USA, Bryan also won many Cutting Horse classes, including Year End Champion in the North Texas Cutting Horse Assn, and competed at the World Finals in Amarillo, Texas.

Bryan has judged many Western Horse events across New Zealand, including National Breed Shows for NZ Quarter Horse Assn, NZ Appaloosa Horse Assn, NZ Paint Horse Assn. First and longest serving Judge for the NZ Cutting Horse Assn.

He has held the offices of Vice President of the New Zealand Quarter Horse Association. President and founding Council member of the New Zealand Cutting Horse Association, several times. Bryan has also managed and organised a National Quarter Horse Show, and many NZCHA National Futurity Shows.

Through his lifetime of local and international competing and training, Bryan has built up a unique skill set which will enable him to take you and your horse to the next level in competitive or recreational riding.
